The 肖尼 State University fiscal year begins on July 1 and ends on June 30. The fiscal year is named for the date on which the year ends. FY24 covers July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024.

预算周期
The budget is developed by the offices of 金融 & 政府 and 机构预算, in consultation with departments across campus. The budget development cycle begins up to a year before the fiscal year opens. 正常情况下, the budget for the coming fiscal year is approved by the 校董会 at its June meeting.
The State of Ohio has a two-year budget cycle. During the first year of each State biennium, approval of the university's budget may be delayed until the General Assembly approves the State's biennial budget.
There are three primary phases to the budget cycle: development, spending, and year-end activities. At any point in time, the university is performing tasks related to two or three fiscal years.
